Mini-review: Houdini – The Handcuff King

An excellent glimpse into the fascinating life of Harry Houdini. Shame it wasn’t longer, since this well-paced retelling of one his spectacular stunts mostly feels like one lost chapter from a much greater story. Jason Lutes takes a small break from Berlin to return to the magical themes from Jar of Fools, where protagonist Ernie Weiss played the part of Harry Houdini, while  newcomer Nick Bertozzi does an excellent job with the artwork.
